Inspired by a muffatte pattern from the 1845 edition of The Hand-Book of Useful and Ornamental Amusements and Accomplishments, these fingerless mitts are incredibly warm and soft. The pattern knits up quickly and since you carry the colors up the work, there are only a few ends to weave in!

NOTE: Backwards loop cast on is used in to create the thumb hole.
