This holiday advent shawl was made using Channy Peas Corner 2023 Tribute to Indie Dyers and is the first Yarn Advent pattern I’ve ever made!

The different sections and techniques used in this shawl will keep you engaged and interested with the process while also providing a few sections of calming repeats, interrupted just in time so you won’t get bored!

It’s a square shawl with 4 sections and 5 tasseled corners! Worked in turning rows and finished with tassels at the corners, this pattern works up fairly quickly, but fair warning. It is more of an intermediate-advanced pattern!

This pattern was made with one full skein and 12 mini skeins of DK weight yarn. The original was made with mostly wool yarns, but any fiber content will do!

A 6.5 mm hook will be needed, and the usual scissors, tapestry needle, and stitch marker!
Finished shawl will be around 5 feet across at the top, and 3 feet from the middle top to the point! Gauge may very as it’s not vital!
