Ghost of Socks Past
This pattern is a response to all the wee balls of left overs from previous sock projects. Not enough for a sock blanket project? Make more socks! My first pair used 11 different scraps, some as small as 5g.
These socks are knitted in the round, top down, and use slipped stitches to blend the stripes of different yarns together. This gives the socks a firmer texture than plain stocking stitch. The heel is a garter stitch heel flap.
Instructions are included for making the socks (vaguely!) matching, and how to deal with the mountain of ends.
So dig through your stash and turn those wee bits into something useful!
