Gigio is a t-shirt/blouse with a very simple shape, but with various options that can add all its charm. Knitted with a summery yarn, your knit will be soft, flowing, and fresh.
It is knitted seamlessly, top-down. You start knitting the yoke for the back then fronts are picked on the bottom from shoulders. Then, the body (back and front) is worked in round with cable pattern in the center front. The neckline is picked up and knitted in the round. The sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round in rolled stockinette stitch. Several options are available: embroidery, buttons, and a fitted blouse effect.

Finished bust circumference approximately: (35 - 37.5) 38.5 (40 - 42.5) 45 (47.25 - 51) 55 (59 - 63) inches or (89 - 95) 98 (102 - 108) 114 (120 - 130) 140 (150 - 160) cm.
Recommended ease: 2 or 6 inches or 5 à 15 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number. It is of course possible to adapt and knit a size with more or less ease than recommended.
Sample is shown in size 4 with 4 inches or 10 cm of positive ease.

GAUGE: 26 sts x 34 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in St st with larger needles.

YARN: this pattern is knitted with one strand of fingering/sport weight yarn. Approximately (520 - 570) 620 (675 - 730) 780 (875 - 985) 1090 (1190 - 1300) yards or (475 - 520) 565 (615 - 666) 715 (800 - 900) 995 (1085 - 1185) m.

NOTIONS: needles sizes 3 mm/US 2.5 (ribbing) and 3.5 mm/US 4 80 cm/16, 32 inches
(body, armhole and neckband), tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 2 stitches markers removables, 9 buttons approx. 8mm buttons and embroidery threads.

NOTES: the pattern is knitted in MT (50 % merino, 50 % tencel – 100g = 333 m) from Yarn By Simone color Pépètes.
Embroideries are made with coton mouliné from dmc (colors 730, 3705, 3778).

Gigio est un tee-shirt/blouse à la forme très simple mais avec différentes options qui peuvent lui donner tout son charme. Tricoté avec un fil estival votre tricot sera doux, fluide et frais.
Il se tricote de haut en bas sans couture avec des épaules déportées. On commence l’empiècement par le dos puis les devants sont relevés sur le haut des épaules. Le corps (dos et devant) est ensuite travaillé en rond avec un point au centre du devant. L’encolure est relevée et tricotée en rond. Les mailles des manches sont relevées puis travaillées en rond en jersey roulotté. Plusieurs options sont proposées : broderie, boutons, effet blouse resserrée.

Il est conseillé de le porter avec une aisance positive d’environ 5 à 15 cm. Pour choisir la meilleure taille, mesurer le tour de poitrine et ajouter l’aisance souhaitée, puis choisir la circonférence de poitrine finie la plus proche de ce nombre. Il est bien sûr possible de choisir d’avoir un tricot plus ou moins près du corps et de tricoter une taille avec plus ou moins d’aisance que préconisé.
Il est présenté en taille 4 avec 10 cm d’aisance.

ECHANTILLON : 26 m x 34 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey avec les aiguilles 3,5 mm.

LAINE : le modèle se tricote avec un fil de type fingering/sport. Environ (475 - 520) 565 (615 - 666) 715 (800 - 900) 995 (1085 - 1185) m au total.

MATERIEL : aiguilles suggérées 3 mm (icord) et 3,5 mm (corps, emmanchures et encolure), une aiguille à laine, câbles pour mettre les mailles en attente, 2 anneaux marqueurs amovibles et 9 boutons d’environ 8 mm, fils de broderie.

NOTES : le modèle est tricoté en MT (50 % merino, 50 % tencel – 100g = 333 m) de Yarn By Simone couleur Pépètes.
La broderie est réalisée avec des fils de coton mouliné dmc (couleurs 730, 3705, 3778).
