PATTERN NOTES
The shawl begins as a classic top-down triangle with a DC center spine, then the asymmetric wing is created.

Use a locking stitch marker to keep track of the center spine. Move up the marker every row to the new center DC just made.

To create the wing, work only on the stitches along one side of the center, plus the DC spine st.

Work decreases along the center spine while continuing to increase along the edge to shape the wing.

Turn work at the end of each row unless indicated otherwise.
