This is the 15th in a series of 24 linked patterns, published daily in December 2014, to decorate a knitted Gingerbread House. The pattern for the house itself is published separately.

The first thing to add to the roof of the Gingerbread House is the chimney. How else will Father Christmas get in? This is made with plastic canvas and then covered with knitting. You will need a small amount of ginger DK weight yarn to match the house walls and some cream to match the roof.
