Ginny is an adorable knit giraffe knit seamlessly from the torso outwards. She’s very tall--in worsted weight, she stands 18 inches from the tips of her horns to the bottom of her hooves! Her long neck and legs are perfect for babies and children to grab hold of.

In worsted weight, she requires 100 grams in each of two colors. Gauge is not crucial, as long as it’s tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t pop through. She was also tested in fingering weight yarn, using just 50 grams of each color, and still standing 14 inches tall!

Materials:

• 100 grams each in two colors of soft, washable worsted-weight yarn
• small amount of lightweight yarn (lace, fingering, or sport) for embroidery and eyelashes

• set of 5 DPNs, size 2 US (2.75 mm)
• crochet hook size I (5.5 mm) for mane and tail
• fiber fill
• tweezers (optional)
• tapestry needle for embroidering and weaving in ends
