This pattern is inspired by the yarn “Aurora”, in the unique charm of the mohair fibers. It’s named Gisela, after the singer Gisela João that has just edited an album with the name Aurora. A coincidence since this pattern was sketched while listening to her music lives on instagram. So lets wait for the return of live concerts, knitting and listening to good music to brighten our days.
This cardigan is knitted from the top-down, seamlessly and without picking up stitches. It is worked in stockinette stitch and with i-cord edgings. (the main techniques used in the pattern have a video tutorial support)

YARN: 6 (7, 8, 9, 10, 10) balls of AURORA from Rosários 4, in colour 07 (25g/210m). Note: the cardigan is knitted with 2 strands of yarn held together.
GAUGE: 18 sts and 28 rows - 10x10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4,5 mm needle, washed and blocked (it’s important to wash and block your swatch in order to get the correct gauge).
NEEDLES: 3,5 mm and 4,5 mm circular needles (if necessary, adjust the needle size to match the gauge).
SIZES: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 92 (102, 112, 124, 133, 143) cm final bust measurements (with approximately 15 cm of positive ease).

Este modelo nasce inspirado no fio Aurora, na sua leveza e no charme único do mohair. Ganha o nome de Gisela, inspirado na cantora que acaba de editar um album com o mesmo nome deste fio. Uma coincidência que serviu de inspiração para este modelo que foi desenhado enquanto a ouvia cantar nos seus directos no instagram. Enquanto esperamos pelo regresso dos concertos, vamos tricotar e ouvir musica para alegrar a alma.
Este casaco é tricotado de cima para baixo, sem costuras e sem precisar de levantar malhas. É tricotado em ponto jersey e com ourelas em cordão (i-cord). Todas as técnicas utilizadas têm video tutoriais de apoio.

AMOSTRA: 18 ms e 28 carrs - 10x10 cm em ponto jersey com agulha 4,5 mm, blocada (é importante lavar e secar a amostra pois a contagem de malhas pode alterar com a primeira lavagem).
AGULHAS: Agulhas circulares de 3,5 mm e de 4,5 (se necessário, ajuste o número da agulha para obter o valor da amostra).
TAMANHOS: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.
