Notes from the Designer:
In the ballet world, Giselle is a dark and twisted tale of unrequited love, madness, and death. In the knitting world, the Giselle sweater is also full of dark twists and turns, but rather than leading to madness (at least I certainly hope not!), they lead to a lovely, delicate lace yoke and twisted stitch link detail down the sleeves and side seams. The garment has two versions, both of which are worked seamlessly top down. Version 1 starts with a delicate twisted edge, which is repeated at the hem and the edge of the bell sleeves. Version 2 starts and finishes with a pretty twisted rib. Both versions can be customized to suit your sleeve and body length tastes.

- Additional length can be added but will require additional yardage.
- Sample is shown on a 34” bust with 2” of positive ease.
- Here is a video showing how to do the Twisted Edge.
- The lace pattern is modified from a lace chart found in the Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible by Hitomi Shida.
