Here in New England, these first temperature drops always seem to hit the hardest. Every year, we play the same game…will we make it without turning the heat on until November? This cozy cowl is just the thing to fortify me in my yearly mission to survive on handknits and space heaters alone until I crack. Not to mention it’s plenty stylish too.

This is not your average mohair. Giselle is a next-to-skin soft blend of the finest kid mohair and wool with a little nylon as a binder. The brilliant colors gleam in that special way mohair does. I’m still waiting for mohair to enter the public consciousness, but sometimes it seems like knitters are afraid of it. This piece will set the record straight. Let’s make this the winter of mohair!
