Glacier Ridge
Cables cascading down the front and wrapping around the back to make a fun and intriguing knit! I found these two yarns (MAD|TOSH Tosh Merino Light + Tweed and Shibui Knits Silk Cloud) at my local yarn store (Loopville Yarns) and decided they were a perfect couple and had to be made into something. Thus we have Glacier Ridge! The MAD|TOSH is a lovely tweed in the colorway Moonglow and Silk Cloud is a lovely mohair adding the perfect halo in the colorway Glacier, one of Julie Hoover’s signature colorways. The construction is a modified version of the contiguous set-in sleeves method developed by Susie Myers.

Needles: Size 3/3.25mm 24”/60 cm (or longer) circular needle and set of 4 or 5 double-pointed needles.
Other: 10 stitch markers (3 colors or types – see Note below. More will be needed if markers between Border Chart repeats are desired), cable needle, stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rnds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch.
18 sts = 1.75”/4.5 cm in Double Cable Chart pattern (one pattern repeat)
Notes: Hold 1 strand of each yarn together throughout the pattern. A single strand of Sport or light DK yarn may be used in place of the two modeled yarns.
This pullover is constructed from the top down in one piece using the contiguous method. There is a lot going on in the beginning, but as you proceed the increases slow down. There are notes within the pattern to guide you. There is no body shaping past the armholes, but the cables do add some natural shaping. The body and sleeve lengths are adjustable.
Errata:
Page 5, after Sleeve decreases, the number of stitches remaining after the repeats for the 50.75” size should be 52, not 32.
