The Gladstone Sweater is worked from the bottom up, both in the round and flat. You begin by working the body ribbing flat in two sections and then join to begin working in the round. Once the desired length is achieved, you split for the sleeves and continue working the front and back panels flat. The shoulders are then seamed. Sleeves are knit from the bottom up, in the round, and are seamed into place. Finally, you will pick up stitches around the neck and work the collar.
