Yarn: Cascade 220 (Purple Hyacinth 7808- 9, Beige 8021- 4 skeins, 9612- Purple orchid 2 skeins),
Other great choices would be Berroco Vintage, Berroco Ultra Alpaca
Hook: G/ 4.25 mm hook or size needed to obtain gauge
Other Materials:
• Darning needle
• 2- 6’ x 1”x ½” hardwood
• 3- ¾” x 48” round dowel
• Saw for cutting wood
• Drill
• Wood boring bit- ¾”
• Note: It is not recommended to work with wood if not experienced, power tools should be used with the proper safety precautions as per the precautions of the manufacturer and always use safety glasses
Gauge: 5 shell stitches (1 sc, 2dc) = 4 inches, 8.5 rows = 4 inches
Finished size: (after blocking) childrens- 50”x64” , adult size 60” x 72”
