This pattern was designed to use hand-spun yarn but any fingering weight yarn will be fine. A bit of nylon for durability would be of benefit. It would be great for the bits of leftovers after knitting socks.

The bottom of the bag is about 5 x 5”, the height when pulled together is about 9.5” and the circumference is about 21”.

A lining for the bag uses fabric so the bag is more versatile and your tools and needles will not poke through. The lining has a small over-lap pocket to store small items like a pair of scissors or stitch markers.

Gleason was a goat who like to eat clothing. I thought it was a fun reference for a fun little bag.
