In celebration of the coming holiday season – and to spread a little glittery joy, I hereby present the “glimmerhue” (Danish for “glitter hat”) – as a free pattern for all to enjoy.

Sizes: small (large) – the small fits kids of age 2-6 years, while the large fits the 9 year old LB and me (with a head circumference of 60 cm) equally well. The small hat is around 50 cm long, while the large hat is 75-80 cm long (excluding the pompom).

The hat is knit in “normal” stockinette stitch, but you can choose which side you want to be your “right side”, which makes the hat reversible.
