The given sizes are called Sizes 1–2 and are recommended to fit a head circumference of: 46–53 (54–61) cm (18–20.75 (21.25–24) in)

B. Height (brim unfolded): 29 (28) cm (12 (11.5) in)
C. Brim height: 9 (8) cm (3.5 (3.25) in)

RECOMMENDED EASE
Designed with 2–13 cm (0.5–4.75 in) of negative ease at head circumference.
Photographs show the dark green hat knit in Size 1, and the burgundy hat knit in Size 2. The model with light hair has a head circumference of 54 cm (21.5 in), and the model with dark hair has a head circumference of 55 cm (21.75 in).

GAUGE
24 sts and 27 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st after blocking using 4mm (US 6) needles.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The Global Shift Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. The ribbed brim is worked first, followed by the cabled body of the hat. The crown is shaped with decreases, some of which are cleverly hidden in the cables.
