Here’s another pattern installment in my series of gnomes. This one is just trying to stay cool. A red kerchief covers his overheated head and he wears no shoes (note the adorable toes!). He wears blue shorts and a white t-shirt.
This is knitted in the round using a set of four double pointed needles, and the legs and arms are i-cord, then attached to the body. There are pictures of the steps for some of the techniques used to make this gnome.
He’s knitted in dk weight, inexpensive yarn from Berroco, but you can substitute another dk yarn if you’d like. This is a great way to use up some of your stash.
