Glow is a long and roomy open-front cardigan. The trendy open and textured lace pattern makes it faster to work up than you might think, and makes economical use of the yarn, too.

Finished bust sizes measure: 48 (60, 72)” / 122 (152.5, 183)cm. Sample is 48”/152.5cm worn with 10”/25cm positive ease. This garment is intended to be loose and flowy.

The sweater is worked flat in one piece, side to side, starting with increases at the right sleeve and ending with decreases to the left sleeve cuff. Finish by completing the lapel and neckline trim and sewing the side seams.

Materials:
Malabrigo Rios, 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 210y/192m; 100g/3.5 oz: 4 (5, 6) skeins in Cucumber.

Tools:
US 10 (6mm) 32”/80cm circular or size necessary to obtain gauge; cable needle, 2 stitch markers; tapestry needle. Note: The length of the circular needle listed is based on comfortably working the largest number of stitches required; a shorter needle may be more enjoyable when working a smaller number of stitches, such as on the sleeves. An interchangeable needle set with different cord lengths would be ideal for this project, but not necessary.

Gauge:
11 sts/16 rnds over 4”/10cm in Textured Lace, worked flat, blocked. Note: This stitch pattern grows quite a lot with the dropped stitches. Be sure to make a large gauge swatch.
