Peace is a buttoned, removable square pillow case cover that is knit-flat and seamed. It features an intarsia dove with an embroidered branch.

Unlike stranded knitting, the patterning in intarsia knitting is created by using separate small quantities of yarn colours wound into bobbins for easier management. When changing colours in a row, drop the bobbin being used in between the wrong side of the work and the yarn tail of the new colour to twist and connect the old colour to the new one.
