This pattern is 6 pages long. It is written in English, using American crochet terms.

You will need:

Yarn of your choice – yarn weight doesn’t really matter, the size of your ghost will simply turn out bigger or smaller! You can use any normal white yarn for this, but if you can get hold of some glow in the dark yarn then it works really well. I used Lion Brand DIY Glow and my finished ghost measures 14cm tall.

You will need the following colours:

White (or glow in the dark yarn) & black

In addition, you will also need:

A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen – I used a 3.5mm hook.

Toy stuffing for the ghost’s head and body.

A small amount of black and light pink embroidery thread (or finer yarn) for the facial details.

Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and a stitch marker.
