If substituting yarns, I recommend using a worsted that has a recommended gauge of 5 sts/inch). You can get 2 hats from the 2 skeins if you swap main colors and pom pom colors.

Needles: US 6 (4mm) and US 7 (4.5mm) 16” circular needle, 1 set of US 7 (4.5mm) double-pointed needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
