Sizes
Small (medium, large). Sized to fit a 6 (7, 8)-inch hand circumference measured around the knuckles on the hand. 

Finished Measurement
6.4 (7.5, 8.5)-inch circumference around the knuckles on the hand. 
The length from the cuff to the top of the mitten 9.5 (10, 10.5)- inches. The length can be varied. 

Yarn
Barrett Wool Co. Wisconsin Woolen Spun Fingering Weight (100% American Wool; 450 yards / 100 grams), in the colorways Cornflower (medium blue), Birch (creamy white), Laurel (mossy green), Forest (dark forest green), Stone (heathered brown and gray), Oats (oatmeal), Blushing (the lightest hint of pink), Rain Shower (heathered light gray) and Jam (red). 

Yarn Amounts Used
The striped mittens only take small amounts of each of the colors. 25 grams of each would be plenty. 

The finished medium-size pair of mittens sample with the snowflake embroidery weigh in at 46.02 grams. Approximately 23 grams per mitten.

US size 2 / 2.75mm set of double-pointed needles or size to obtain gauge.
