Good Vibes Cowl Cap
I love knit accessories that serve more than one purpose and can be worn different ways. With that
idea in mind, I set out to make a companion piece to match my versatile “Good Vibes Mitts” (that can also
be worn 2 ways). My “Good Vibes Hat/Cowl” is a cinched slouchy beanie style with K2P2 rib at the top and
bottom. The engineered eyelet holes in the top trim allow the self-yarn drawstring to easily gather up the trim
and create the crown of the hat. And, if you feel the need for a neck warmer instead, the “Good Vibes Hat/
Cowl” effortlessly transforms into a cowl neck simply by loosening the drawstring at the top, and tying a new
bow. The striped slip stitch pattern still inspires thoughts of a warming glass of red wine on a crisp Fall day
surrounded by great music, and is suitable for any skill level. Even a beginner can tackle this hat and catch
some “good vibes”!
