Gossamer
In designing this inventive garment, Joji Locatelli was inspired by the ruana, a traditional cape with roots in Colombia and Venezuela. Thanks to her choice of a double strand of Kidsilk Haze, Joji’s iteration is so delicate it practically floats.
A long rectangle that is split, the design is convertible: it can be styled like a vest, with the 2 narrow pieces in the front and the wide half down the back, held in place by lightweight shell buttons down the front and sides.
Or it can also be folded the long way, to wrap around the neck and shoulders, transforming the buttons into a dash of sparkle.
