Gradient dyed roving was spun into a gradient yarn in order to knit this sweater. Commercially dyed and spun yarn can also be used.

Details for planning your spinning project are provided in the pattern.

Finished Bust Measurements: 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54)” / 76.5 (86.5, 96.5, 107, 117, 127, 137)cm

Yarn Requirements: Approximately, 637 (724, 813, 899, 1004, 1127, 1243) yds of heavy worsted weight yarn.

I used AllonsyFiberArts Merino/Cashmere/Silk roving to create a 2 ply handspun. Colorway: Mystic Minds

Note about yardage: The yardage listed above is the minimum needed to knit the sweater. If you are purchasing gradient yarn, or yarn with a color shift, plan to buy extra in order to keep the color shifts uniform for the body & the sleeves.

This sweater is knit in the round from the top down with raglan shaping for the sleeves.

The pattern includes shaping at the waist and hip. These sections can be modified to help customize the fit of your sweater.
