“Grådiset Beige” was originally designed for Bohus Stickning by Kerstin Olsson in 1963.

The knitting kit for Grådiset Beige was developed in 2024 from original charts and garments held in museum collections, in consultation with Kerstin Olsson. Grådiset Beige is available as knitting kit for pullover/cardigan with a round yoke.

The garment is knitted on natural white base in a lambswool yarn spun from 100% New Zealand merino wool. Three of the design’s seven pattern yarns are knitted in angora yarn spun from 50% hand-cut angora wool from our own angora rabbits and 50% New Zealand merino wool. The other four are knitted in our lambswool yarn. The pattern yarns are hand-dyed by Pernille Silfverberg to mimic original yarns for Grådiset Beige . The yarns are spun in Denmark at Henrichsens uldspinderi.
