Sewing needle
Thread (in corresponding color to graduation cap)

All patterns are written in standard US terms.

Skills:
This is a beginner level crochet pattern and the techniques involved are granny square and sewing.

Sizing:
Pattern makes a 9 inch x 9 inch square.
