GRAND CANYON SWEATER JUNIOR

The Grand Canyon Sweater is a tight fitting, lightweight and funky sweater with flounce details and 3/4 length sleeves. It’s perfect for summer evenings or spring/autumn days.

The sweater comes in three different sizes; 2-4, 6-8 and 10-12 years old. It’s knit top down and in the round with raglan increases leaving you very few ends to weave in (we love!)

The pattern starts with a fine ribbing neckline followed by stockinette over the body and delicate flounces to give a romantic look. The sweater is quite an easy knit if you are an experienced beginner ;-)

MATERIALS
I have used Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles (Foam) and Kidsilk Lace (Butter) for this version. The combination of the two gives a soft, squishy feel, gentle to the skin.

Age 2-4 uses 50 g Kidsilk Lace, 200 g Skinny Singles
Age 6-8 uses 100 g Kidsilk Lace, 200 g Skinny Singles
Age 10-12 used 100 g Kidsilk Lace, 200 g Skinny Singles

NEEDLES
For the pattern I have used 4 mm and 5 mm circular needles and dpns.
