Grandpa Allan’s Hat is an easy hat, knit in the round from the bottom up, using circular needles and double pointed needles, and matches my Grandpa Allan’s Cowl pattern. It is suitable for advanced beginners and is rated easy.

The hat comes in three sizes:

o Child: 18” (45.75 cm) around
o Teen / Small adult: 20” (50.75 cm) around
o Large adult: 22” (56 cm) around

and the gauge is:
o 14 stitches and 24 rounds=4” (10 cm) in Alan’s Pattern, after blocking

Grandpa Allan’s hat includes both written and charted directions.
