Meet the Granny Go Round jumper 2.0. The more sophisticated version of your favourite granny stitch jumper. The original bestselling Granny Go Round jumper, released in 2021, has now been reworked using more flattering techniques, with more step photos and 24 linked video tutorials to make it easier to follow.
It features the same vintage granny stitch charm and DK yarn, but with a slightly more generous fit, tapered sleeves, a deeper yoke a different style of rib and a choice of 2 necklines.
Its never too late to add another Granny Go Round to your wardrobe, and this design looks as good in a plain colour as it does in stripes. If you’re worried about weaving in ends, the video tutorials show how to float your yarn up the inside to avoid this.

You can use any DK yarn providing the gauge is met. The pattern uses Hayfield Bonus DK which is quite a thick DK yarn, so bear this in mind when substituting yarns.
The pattern is available in UK and US crochet terms, is worked from the top down and is intermediate level. It has a choice of high neck (easier), or crew neck (slightly more challenging). You’ll need a 4mm (G/6) hook & a 3.5mm (E/4) hook.
