Granny in the Sky with Diamonds
Granny in the Sky with Diamonds is a sweet and light baby blanket designed specifically with self-striping yarns in mind. The body of the pattern is made mainly of double crochets worked in rows and from corner to corner. It includes a subtle and lacy diamond pattern using traditional granny stitch.
The light and airy blanket is then anchored with a border that’s rich in texture and adds just a touch of weight. The border is also designed to work with your self-striping yarn to blend and distribute the colors and bring the entire project together.
The pattern is available in Annie’s Crochet World Magazine, October 2020 issue
