The classic granny is a firm favourite of mine and this sweetly simple set is a joy to wear, especially when made luxurious with a touch of cashmere.

Pattern Description
This pattern is for a cowl and mitts, both worked in the round using granny stitch and a simple border.

Beginner
Suitable beginner project, basic stitches, clear instructions and no shaping.
Cowl:
Beginner/Easy
Basic stitches and a simple decrease, which is explained in the pattern.

Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino
8 balls in one of the following sets of colours:

Cottage Garden
2 balls of Pale Lilac (608) and 1 ball of each of the following: Mink (064), Damson (087), Peach Melba (068), Flame (306), Baby Pink (601), Primrose (001)

Home Fires
2 balls of Ecru (101) and 1 ball of each of the following: Baby Pink (601), Fuchsia (088), Mint (033), Teal (203), Duck Egg (026), Primrose (001)

Yarn Substitutions:
Sport or Light DK yarn in various colours
Mitts: 70 yards approx
Cowl: 170 yards approx
