Granny Rose Pouch
The listing is for a granny rose bag and NOT actual bag.
If you love the granny stitch, you’ll enjoy working on this pouch / bag. It can be used to store trinkets, jewelry or other small necessities. It also makes a perfect last minute gift.
Technicalities
Yarn and hook: Sport yarn of your choice (I love working with Tango and Phil Cotton 3) and a 3 mm hook (UK 11/ US D). The best effect is achieved by using 3 colors /shades of the same color. Mind that you can use whatever yarn size/weight (and relevant hook for that weight) you have at hand; that will only influence the size of your pouch – hence smaller weights of yarn will yield smaller pouches, heavier weights will produce big/large pouches.
Other: Tapestry needle for weaving ends.
Optional: sewing needle and thread and pearl beads if you want to decorate your flower. A sheer organza bag if you want it lined.
Stitches in American terminology: chain (ch), chain space (ch-sp), stitch (st.), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc).
Measurement of pouch: 14.5 x 16 cm (5.51” x 6.29”).
