Hi pals! Today I am sharing with you my granny square bag! I partnered with Hobbii for their #HobbiiGrannySquareMonth and they sent me this yarn in exchange for posting on social media about it. I wasn’t paid or anything, but I did get 4 skeins of yarn for free, so thats neat.

The yarn I used for this is a dk weight acrylic yarn, Kind Feather, and I absolutely loved it. It was a little splitty in spots, but its one of the softest yarns and the ends weave in beautifully. I have used this bag for about 6 months (carrying books back and forth to the library) and it’s held up beautifully.

Also, I know, I didn’t design this bag style and I am 100% not claiming to, but I did do a Ravelry and Pinterest search and couldn’t find one pattern featuring 2 colored granny squares, seamed together with the zig zag slip stitch method, with a crab stitch border, and Romanian cord straps. I just loved the way those details brought everything together. And again, this yarn is just perfect for this project.
