TENSION (GAUGE)
Although tension is not essential for this pattern, the sample
shown was worked using the following tension: 14 stitches and 9 rows measured over 10 cm, 4 in, of granny stripe using a 4.5mm (7) crochet hook or size needed to obtain correct tension (gauge).

Each granny motif measures approximately 12 cm, 5 in before
it is joined.
