Shown on p. 66
Note: Some editions of this book use ‘English’ crochet notation, while others use US pattern conventions. Be sure you know which yours is!
Gauge: Each square measures approx. 3 1/4 inches (8 cm) worked with larger hook.
From the description: No one knows whose granny invented so-called granny squares, but these motifs are enjoyable, easy crochet with lots of scope for playing with color. Here, a single pastel color has been included in each square of naturals, and the last round has been worked in off-white.
Materials: Medium-weight knitting yarn in natural shades ranging from off-white to brown and in smaller quantities of pastel colors.
