This tee is my ode to the culture and all the complexities and beauty it represents. The lateral braid is a fun construction and it creates a beautiful texture in the knit. I also love the vertical panels that make for a fun way to play with colours. Who doesn’t love a boxy summer top ?

NOTES
Grassroots features a modular knitting construction. It is knit sideways in two identical pieces and seamed together. The sleeve caps, neckline and hem are added at the end.

You start at the side, and will change colours progressively to create the vertical panels. Each panel is separated by a lateral braid.
