Inspired by the seasonal favorite TV special, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” this cowl features a lace pumpkin design with a leaf lace border.

The border is knit flat and seamed first, then stitches are picked up on one side to knit the pumpkin lace in the round. 


There are four different charts that can be used for the pumpkin lace: lace only, beaded only, and two different ones that combine the beaded and lace pumpkins.

The pattern has both written and charted instructions. It requires about 25g of yarn for the main color and 15g of yarn for the contrasting color. The crochet hook is optional, and only used for adding the beads.
