Great Smokies
This pattern is dedicated to my Papaw, who loved the Smokies more than anyone else I know.
Round and round and round she goes, colors blend and colors flow. Knit this cowl in the round with a self-striping, gradient, or long color run yarn to get stacks and steps of color throughout. Short rows interspersed in the rounds provide texture and break up the colors.
Skill level: intermediate - requires working in the round and short rows
Yarn requirements: Worsted weight yarn with long sections of color
Needles: US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle, at least 48” (120 cm) long
Tech edited by Eledixon.
