Greenhorn beanie is a simple two colour beanie worked bottom-up. The colour change is easy to make and you will be using only one colour in a round.

The instructions are for one size but one can easily customize it. For a bigger circumference, work more of the ribbing that is a multiple of 4.

For a smaller circumference, work fewer rows of the ribbing again keeping that number to be a multiple of 4.

Accordingly number of rounds needed for the crown decrease will change as per this starting multiple.

The height of the beanie can be changed by working more repeats of the body!

The green sample fits an 18 month baby and the pink one fits a new born to 3 months.
