GreenRidge
GreenRidge is a short sleeve pullover knit from the bottom up. The waist band is knit in the round and the body is knit back and forth with a buttonband picked up and knit after the body is complete. The sleeves are knit from the armhole down to the ribbing with short rows to shape the sleeve cap. The color-work is created using slip stitches and only one color of yarn is used per row.
Skills Required:
This is an intermediate knitting pattern and requires the following skills to complete:
Knitting flat, knitting in the round, slip stitches, wrap and turn, picking up stitches, cable cast on, 3 needle bind off, buttonholes
Size:
Finished bust circumference of 31 (33, 34.5, 37, 39, 41, 42.5, 45) inches
Finished length of 19.5 (19.5, 19.75, 20, 20.5, 20.75, 20.75, 21) inches
Intended to have 0 to 1” of positive ease.
Yarn Requirements:
Quince and Co. Chickadee, Sport 100% wool, 181 yards/50grams
Color A Sabine 150 ~ 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) balls
Color B Lichen 126 ~ 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) balls
Color C Leek 131 ~ 1 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3) balls
Or any sport weight yarn that gives you gauge.
Needle Size:
Size US5 (3.75mm) 24” (or 32” for larger sizes) circular needle for ribbing (worked in the round)
Size US6 (4.0mm) circular needle or double points to knit sleeve in the round
Size US7 (4.5mm) 32” (or 40” for larger sizes) circular needle for body, knit flat
Size US7 (4.5mm) needle for 3 Needle Bind Off
Or needle sizes needed to get gauge

2 Stitch Markers
6 stitch holders or waste yarn
7 –5/8” buttons
Gauge:
Gauge is measured after wet blocking the swatch.
5.5 sts and 10 rows to 1 inch in Textured Tweed Stitch on US7 (4.5mm) needles (22 sts and 24 rows in 4”)
5.75 sts and 9 rows to 1 inch in K1, P1 ribbing on US5 (3.75mm) needles (23 sts and 36 rows in 4”)
5 sts and 7 rows to 1 inch in stockinette knit in the round on US6 (4mm) needles (20 sts and 28 rows in 4”)
