Gretchen is an open little cardi with a worked in lace collar. The body is worked in one piece to the underarms and then split for the fronts and back. The collars are continued past the BO for the shoulders and then seamed to the back neck. The sleeves are worked separately with lightly puffed sleeve caps and are then set into the body.
