Grid Cardi
There are three sizes included in this pattern; a petite size (up to about size 8 US), one-size (from about size 8 US to 2XL), and a plus size (up to about 5XL).
This pattern uses the Grid Stitch, a combination of chain stitches, single crochet, and double crochet.

Pattern Notes:
Dc rows are “right side”. Sc rows are “wrong side”.
Sew shoulders using the Mattress Stitch. Do not sew too tightly.

Pattern for gauge:
Row 1: Ch-27. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and sc in next ch. * ch-2, sk-2 chs, sc in next 2 chs * repeat between ** * to end. (26)
Row 2: Ch-3 (counts as dc here and throughout), turn, dc in second st. * ch-2, sk ch-2, dc in next 2 sts * repeat between * * to end. (26)
Row 3: Ch-1, turn, sc in first 2 sts. * ch-2, sk-2 chs, sc in next 2 chs * repeat between ** * to end, placing last sc in top of ch. (26)
Row 4 - 15: repeat rows 2 & 3 (26)
Row 16: repeat row 2 (26) Measure for gauge.
