This crochet pattern is for an adorable little pocket-sized Grimace.

This easy (but not beginner) crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

You will need:
• 30 grams size 3 DK yarn in Dark Purple
• Scrap amounts size 3 DK yarn in Light Purple, Black
• Crochet hook size D/3.00 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• Fibre fill
• 2 small buttons ONLY if piece is intended for people over 3 years of age
• Black acrylic paint
• Glue

Notes
• Grimace’s body and head are worked in one piece from the top down.
• Grimace is worked in continuous rounds.
• Limbs are worked separately and sewn on.
• Grimace stands roughly 4 inches tall.
• Buttons may only be used for eyes if piece is intended for people under 3 years of age. Otherwise, eyes must be embroidered on.
