A lovely fitting, classic sweater.
The back and front are in a simple alternating broken rib stitch, giving gentle raised texture and keeping the classic line and comfy fit of this design.
The attractive side lacing gives a modern twist and is not difficult to do. The lacing can be pulled together so that the edges of the slit meet, or loosened for a relaxed fit.
The tie is crocheted, but if you don’t know how to crochet, you could make a twisted cord with double yarn instead.
The pretty neckline and sleeve borders are designed to give a neat roll-over edge.
