This simple dress worked from the top down is very easy to customize. Play with the length, knit it in stripes or a solid colour, or add other embellishment to suit your personal taste.
Knit using a fingering weight yarn, the gauge is slightly unusual due to the use of slightly larger needles creating a fabric that is quite stretchy. Choose your size based on how much positive or negative ease you wish to achieve for your garment.
I have listed many sizes. To avoid confusion, I recommend highlighting all the numbers that pertain to the size you choose to make before beginning.

A note about the yarn: The dress that I originally knit (shown in pattern photo) was made using Noro Kureyon Sock. I am aware that this yarn has been discontinued in North America and may be difficult to find. I have listed other yarn choices that will help you achieve a similar effect, such as Noro Silk Garden Sock. These yarns may have different yardage amounts so more or less balls of yarn may be necessary when substituting.
