These socks are knitted from the toe up with a “currants” stitch
pattern on the foot and leg. Since the color red and the small dots remind these berries.
The toe is shaped with increases. It features a round heel with a slip-stitch heel flap. The frill is knitted at the end from picked-up stitches around the cuff. Written instructions for knitting in magic-loop or with Addi crasy trio needles, but includes notes for knitting with DPNs.

YARN: 1 ball of ALVOR from Rosários 4, color 17.
GAUGE: 29 sts and 40 rnds - 10x10 cm in currants stitch with 2.5 mm needles, worked in the round, washed, and blocked (it’s important to wash and block your swatch to get the correct gauge).
NEEDLES: 2.25 and 2.5 mm circular needles with 80 cm, to work in magic loop or your favorite needles to work small circumferences like 20 cm cable and Double Point Needles (DPNs) (if necessary, adjust the needle size to match the gauge).
NOTIONS: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, waste yarn.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 18 (21) cm foot circumference and 24 (26) cm foot length
(adaptable); measures with approx. 2 cm of negative ease.

Estas meias são tricotadas da biqueira para o cano, com o
ponto de groselhas no pé e na perna. A biqueira é formada
com aumentos. O calcanhar é redondo e com a banda
em ponto reforçado. O folho é tricotado no final a partir de
