The Grumpy Nova hat is styled after a hat that Grumpy the Dwarf wears in ABC’s Once Upon a Time. I had originally planned to make it for guys only - but once my daughter tried it on - I saw how cute it is for girls, too!

It’s a very unique style, and I am sure you will love it as I do!

I used Hobby Lobby’s ILTY because nowadays it is very thin and soft. It worked as well as the Red Heart Soft. You want a thin, soft yarn - as it should turn out floppy and not stiff. Caron Simply Soft would probably work very well, too.
