The Guernsey Hat uses some of the motifs generally used in Guernsey knitting. It is knit out of a chunky yarn and knits up quickly. It is best knit in light color yarn with good stitch definition.

The pattern is charted; you MUST be able to follow a chart to compete this pattern.

The hat is pretty flexible in fit. If you want it bigger, go up needle sizes. If you do this, you may need more yarn. Worked in this size there is approximately 20 yards left over.
