Knit this cuddly classical guitar for your budding maestros to practice on.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the guitar is knit in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

For intermediate knitters, to create your musical instrument you will use techniques including a provisional cast on, Kitchener stitch grafting, intarsia colour-work and mattress stitch seaming, with chain stitch and couching embroidery stitches to add the details.

NEEDLES:
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN:
King Cole Pricewise and Dollymix DK yarns; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than 100g in each colour.

NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, stitch markers and bobbins.

SIZES:
One size only - The guitar is 41cm tall.
